Skills Framework for Built Environment
The Skills Framework for Built Environment is developed by BCA, SkillsFuture Singapore, and Workforce Singapore, together with employers, unions, and training providers. It provides a common skills language to understand job roles, career paths, and skills requirements, enabling a unified approach to hiring, training, accreditation, and career planning across the BE sector.

As the youth division of the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES), the Young Professionals Connection (YPC) aims to:
- promote consulting engineering as a career choice for graduates
- support the professional development of young engineers
- address relevant issues affecting emerging professionals
- facilitate meaningful connections between young professionals and senior practitioners across the consulting engineering industry
The Young Quantity Surveyors (YQS) group, under SISV's Quantity Surveyor Division, provides a vibrant community for aspiring quantity surveyors to develop professionally and network. Established in 2014, YQS offers opportunities to connect with industry leaders, share knowledge, and gain exposure through seminars, site visits, and events including the annual Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors Congress, helping shape the future of QS profession.
For students and emerging practitioners, Singapore Institute of Architects – Young Architects League (SIA-YAL) is a launchpad; a place to grow networks, learn from established architects, and test bold ideas. Through forums, workshops, and dialogues, youths can connect with industry mentors, exchange ideas in design, innovation, and practice, and turn vision into action - building community through outreach, collaborative projects, and public conversations that advance architecture and the built environment.
The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) is the national society of engineers in Singapore, with 14 Student Chapters across local Institutions of Higher Learning. These chapters are dedicated to nurturing future engineers by providing meaningful opportunities to connect, collaborate, and engage with the engineering community locally and internationally. Through courses, seminars, and talks, IES supports professional growth, industry exposure, and continuous development of future engineers.
